After Juventus suffered a shock defeat against Parma, Lazio have closed the gap at the top to 12 points.

Despite this, manager Edy Reja has stated that he is confident that the club will be able to secure the Europa league spot in the remaining one match of the season. For most of the match it looked like Lazio would suffer a shock defeat, but Stefano Mauri scored a late goal to secure a point for his team.
