Lazio Interested In Real Madrid Winger Ahead Of A Summer Move

Fresh reports emerging from Italian news media outlets are all suggesting that Italian Serie A outfit Lazio are highly interested in snapping up unsettled Real Madrid Winger Vinicius Junior and want to make him a new Lazio player when the summer window opens. Vinicius is currently enduring a mixed season at the Spanish giants this campaign and has rarely been the player that he is known to be.

He has not really impressed Real Madrid bosses this term and it is believed that the reason he continues to make it to the starting XI is because of the several first-team stars who have been sidelined with injuries this term. The Brazilian winger was in a better situation by this time last campaign but he has not been able to replicate the form that saw him terrorize La Liga defenders last season.

And according to the latest reports, Lazio want to sign him and make him a part of their attacking side ahead of next season. Lazio manager Inzaghi believes star striker Ciro Immobile needs a better winger in the team to further boost his goal tally and help him score some more goals than he is doing currently this term. The super Italian striker was on fire last season and challenged Bayern Munich's Robert Lewandowski and Juventus' Cristiano Ronaldo to the European Golden Shoe as he scored a number of goals which boosted his team's chances of qualifying for the UEFA Champions League group stages.

Inzaghi believes Vinicius' ability to cut in from the right and take on defenders will be key attributes to unlock defenders and find his way into the box where he can then make things happen. It is believed that Real Madrid are not interested in letting go of the winger but if the right offer comes in, they may be forced to reconsider.
