The Lazio manager Vladimir Petkovic has said that there is no truth in the speculation that he will be taking over as the Borussia Dortmund manager in the summer. The German club Borussia Dortmund have had an incredible amount of success in the last few years under the management of Klopp, but the club has struggled to repeat the success this season.

Further, their manager has also been linked with several jobs across Europe. Hence, it has been rumoured that Borussia Dortmund have identified Petkovic as a replacement for Klopp, but the Lazio manager has dismissed such speculation.

Lazio are currently doing extremely well in the league, and they still have a chance to win the title. The club has not won the title for many years now, but Petkovic has been able to make them title contenders despite being on a relatively low-budget. After winning three out of the last four matches, the team are just five points behind the leaders Juventus in the table. Petkovic has ruled out the possibility of discussing another contract at the moment because he is happy with his present contract. He has also admitted that he never expected Lazio to be in this position, but he is now concentrated on helping the club win the title more than anything else.

“I am very happy to be at Lazio. A few months ago I could not have imagined being at this level so quickly. I am and will be concentrated, giving my all for Lazio. I am not thinking about a contract renewal because I am perfectly happy with the one I have now. There is no need to rock the boat. At this moment, we can only improve. The victory over Juventus in the Coppa Italia gave us the belief to get a result against any of the top clubs," said Petkovic.
