Lazio Starts Promisingly

Senad Lulic doesn’t believe in too much of talking. He is of the opinion that it’s on the ground where the real competitiveness should be shown. There is no point talking about it prior to the matches.
Lulic, who belongs to Bosnia & Herzegovina, is one the few Lazio players who had a good 2013-14 Serie A Season. The 28-year old had fired in 7 goals in 30 appearances. He had provided 3 assists as well to go with those goals. So, he was pretty much there for his team during the season, but, sadly, most of his teammates were off colour which resulted in the Biancocelesti having their worst outing in the Italian top tier in 4 years. They ended up at the 9th position in the table and that was disappointing considering their squad.
Lazio has, however, started this summer quite promisingly as they have secured a couple of wins and a draw in the friendly pre-season matches.
The new manager of the team, Stefano Pioli, is believed to be having a positive influence on the team and there have been a lot of talks going on that Lazio is going to be more competitive this season under his guidance.
When Lulic was asked about that, he said, “Look, all these talks about competitiveness are of no point unless we go out there and show it during the matches.”
When asked what he thinks about the new man in charge Pioli, the winger said, “I’ve developed a good tuning with Stefano in this short while. He seems to be a good coach to me. He’s very keen to get this side back on track.”
Lazio’s first match in the Serie A in the upcoming season is against AC Milan.
