Lazio manager Edy Reja has expressed his confidence that the club will be able to qualify for the Europa league despite the significant advantage that Inter Milan possess within the last few weeks of the season.

Only the top five teams are capable of qualifying for the European competitions. Inter currently occupy the final fifth place with 55 points on the board. After a change in management in the last few months, Lazio have been picking up form. Reja says that he does not doubt that the club will be able to put up a challenge for the top five in the rest of the season.

Lazio manager Edy Reja says that it is very difficult for him to see the club supporters by boycotting the team and presenting an empty Stadio Olimpico for recently match. The president Claudio Lotito has been the reason for the club’s supporters protesting by not attending to matches.

They reportedly want Lotito to leave the club. However, Reja says that it is very difficult for him and the team to see an empty stadium, which is known for its atmosphere. The club are comfortable in the mid-table, but the success of Roma this campaign has stirred up the rivalry once again.

Lazio coach Edy Reja has said that he is extremely angry and disappointed at the fact that his side were not able to see out the match against Lecce during the weekend.

Lazio dropped two points after drawing the match 1-1, but they could have easily taken all three points had it not been for the late equaliser from Lecce.

Lazio boss Reja has said that he is more than happy with the current second place for the club. The Biancocelesti were the surprise Serie A leaders, but now that they are ‘only’ in second place, the media is more focused on other sides.

“We don’t fit in with the important clubs and evidently the media consider us to be smaller compared with Inter, Milan, Juventus and Roma,” said Reja.
