Lazio is going through a crisis which began back in November of 2015 when the Italian club failed to win a single league match during that month.
Time has passed by and now it’s February but things haven’t changed much with Lazio as they are still struggling trying to clinch consistent victories and rumors are going on claiming that the future of the head coach StefanoPioli is in danger of getting sacked.
In January of the ongoing year, Lazio drew matches against Bologna, Carpi and Udinese. These are hugely disappointing results considering that a few of those previously mentioned club are located in the bottom spots of the Italian league and Lazio were the favorites of winning those games but ultimately went on to drop points.
Pressure is building around Stefano Pioli as questions are starting to surround the 50 year old manager with people trying to figure out if he is the appropriate person to continue taking charge of Lazio or if he should be sacked and replaced by someone else.
CristianBrocchi is being taken into consideration as a possible successor to Stefano Pioli. Brocchi is a manager who is currently in charge of the youth academy of Ac.Milan and he has already talked about the possibility of making a move to Lazio.
When CristianBrocchi was asked about taking charge of Lazio, he replied by saying: "There's no doubt that I am flattered by some of the rumors I'm hearing. After three years working here at Milan, which is a job which I love, it's gratifying to hear my name, particularly being linked to clubs who have a place in my heart already for the past I had there’’
Positive results have to start arriving for Lazio and if they don’t start arriving, this could be the last season of Stefano Pioli as the head coach of the Italian team.
