Ogenyi Onazi, the Lazio midfielder, has stated that he would like to sign for EPL side Liverpool if their rumored interest turns official. In the last few weeks, the Nigerian was linked with Liverpool several times after his recent impressive performance in Italian Serie A.

In spite of being just twenty years of age, Ogenyi already has 18 international caps. It is not just Liverpool, he has also attracted several other European clubs. According to reports, Liverpool is keeping a close eye the progress of the youngster. And the Nigerian himself stated that he is very keen to move to Anfield.

According to reports, while speaking to a leading tabloid, he told that he would jump at the scope to play in the English Premier League. He said that Liverpool is a huge side and it is obviously attractive to any pro footballer and he could see himself playing for them.

Scouts from Merseyside team are believed to have been in the gallery during Nigeria's 2 - 2 draw against Italy at Craven Cottage this week, where Ogenyi offered a fine display.
