As the summer transfer window was still active, English Premier League giants Manchester United were getting very active in the market and after working hard to acquire the signings of world-class players in the past few weeks, they realized that they also had to let some of their players to leave the club.
There were a couple of names linked with summer exits away from Old Trafford and the list included Jesse Lingard, Juan Mata, Nemanja Matic, Donny van de Beek Eric Bailly, Phil Jones, and Andreas Pereira. Pereira particularly made headlines as he was ways set for a transfer away from the Red Devils before the end of the transfer window and he did get his move in the end.
The Brazilian midfielder has always had the dream of becoming a full-fledged Manchester United player and that's ways the goal of players that come through the youth ranks at the club. The likes of Jesse Lingard, Marcus Rashford, Scott McTominay, and Mason Greenwood have all come through the Red Devils youth academy in recent years and have all become mainstays in the first team.
Pereira tried to achieve the same thing but after several loan spells asay from the club at Valencia, Alaves, and Lazio, he was still not able to convince United manager Olé Gunnar Solksjaer that he was ready to be a permanent member of the first team squad.
His loan spell in Italy with Lazio last season was his last before returning to Old Trafford but after preseason, he was again told that he would not w getting game chances at the club this season by Solksjaer so he started looking for another club. Lazio returned to take him on a permanent t transfer but he instead opted to choose a move to Brazil and he sealed a loan move away from the club.
